Along the way, Alice's descendants occupied the home, even entertained Franklin Delano Roosevelt while he was governor of New York state, and she's been awarded the honor of being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cincinnatus, just minutes from I-81, is tucked in the Finger Lakes Region near Cortland with Syracuse to the north, Binghamton to the south, Ithaca to the west, and Norwich to the east.
